The two-week program will involve twenty-five of the best players and leaders in college soccer. The program will be conducted the last two weeks of July, in preparation for the college season. Development will be driven through high level soccer training, educational sessions (specific for leadership development), as well as a discipleship component, designed to enhance each person’s faith. Also implemented into the program, will be a local community outreach experience.

In addition, there will be scheduled follow-up zoom meetings for the participants, throughout the year, to promote further teaching from their experiences, as well as, to create a stronger network of supportive discipleship associations.  All participants will have ongoing access to the staff, for their continued growth and development.

The location will be in Charlotte, NC, and will be associated with Elevation Church. By having proximity to a church community, we will have the ability to provide a valuable connection to resources and people, that will amplify the discipleship experience during the two weeks. Furthermore, we will incorporate the participants into the weekly events at Elevation Church.

All trainings will take place at the Sportsplex, which is home of the Charlotte Eagles USL team. Likewise, lectures will be conducted at on-site meeting spaces, adjacent to Elevation Church.

To make the experience affordable and attractive, the participants will incur a nominal cost of $250 per person. This cost would include, housing, food, staffing, facilities rentals, equipment, insurance, books, and compensation for directing the program. The total cost of conducting the camp will be approximately $50,000, and all participants will be required to send a minimum of 25 letters of request for donation, to offset the costs, associated with the experience.

The program will be directed by Ken and Tina Lolla. The Lolla family is presently part of the ministry team at Evangel World Prayer Center, pastoring the College and Career young adult community. Ken has 30 years of college coaching experience, and five years as head coach of the U.16 National Team. Moreover, The Lolla’s have directed camps and coaching symposiums throughout Ken’s career as a coach. Ken and Tina presently consult in the marketplace; teaching and developing “Cultures of Success” and “Leadership Principles” based on principles of success.
